FIRST TEAM
PITCHERS
Danny Miller
The crafty lefthander posted a 9-1 record with a 1.17 ERA. Opponents batted only .166 against him. He struck out 70 in 592/3 innings. The future MSU Mankato player hit .494 with 17 RBI.
Seth Rosin
Mounds View, senior
A 6-7, 230-pound righthander, he can throw 90 miles per hour. He went 6-1 in his nine starts with a 1.62 ERA. Rosin struck out 72 while walking only 10 in 431/3 innings.
Trent Vedders
The lefthander has great control with a high strikeout-to-walk ratio. Vedders fanned 124 batters and issued only 19 walks while compiling a 12-1 record. He had a 1.58 ERA.

Mike Kvasnicka
Lakeville North, senior
The state's Gatorade player of the year batted .443 in spite of being pitched around frequently as evident by his 21 walks. Kvasnicka, who will play for the Gophers, had seven homers and 28 RBI.
Nick O'Shea
Centennial, senior
O'Shea, a future Gopher, is an outstanding defensive catcher who calls a great game and has a strong arm. He batted .385 with six homers and 20 RBI. He struck out only seven times in 89 plate appearances.
INFIELDERS
Kyle Geason
The Eagles' No. 3 hitter put a charge in his bat in his final season, belting five home runs, driving in 31 runs, and hitting. 472. Geason, who will play for the Gophers, also scored 26 runs.
Deryk Marks
Marks is as versatile as they come, also pitching and catching for the Wolfpack. He hit .446, striking out only once in 91 plate appearances. He went 9-3 on the mound with one save and a 1.16 ERA.
A.J. Pettersen
The future Gopher enjoyed an outstanding final season at the plate. He batted .500, scored 24 runs and knocked in 22. His on-base percentage was .625.
Jacob Esch
Cretin-Derham Hall, SS, junior
The 6-3 Esch did it all for the state tournament-bound Raiders. He batted .511 with six home runs, 45 RBI and 26 runs scored. He also went 6-0 on the mound.
Joe Loftus
Holy Angels, 3B, junior
The power hitter finished with a .531 batting average to go along with nine home runs and 34 RBI. Loftus, who has 22 career home runs, hit a home run in four consecutive games.
OUTFIELDERS
Steve McGuiggan
McGuiggan can change a game in many ways -- with his bat, glove or running the bases. The center fielder had a fielding percentage of 1.000 with three assists. He batted .411 with 19 RBI and 13 steals. He will play at Illinois-Chicago.
