Pitching Fundamentals & Development

 

Who:  Pitchers (grades 9-12)

What:  Personalized pitching instruction/Preseason preparation

Where: St. Anthony High School Varsity Gym

When: Sundays, 4:00pm-5:30pm

            Sessions will run January 7, 2007 thru March 11, 2007.

 

Cost:  $150.00   Checks payable to: Huskies Dugout Club (Total of 15 hours of instruction, cost = $10/hr)

 

What you get:

Ø      Group and individual pitching instruction with drills

Ø      Learn proper pitching mechanics

Ø      Videotape analysis and review

Ø      Year-round conditioning and training programs

Ø      Pre-game prep, in-game strategies, mental approach

Ø      Jump-start on throwing/preparation for the 2007 season

 

Instructor:  Ty Herman

 

Ty Herman has been working with pitchers for over 20 years.  Ty was an All-Conference and All-Region selection at Mankato State University, and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox, playing in the Sox organization for three years.  He was the Pitching Coach at the University of Minnesota for two years, and helped them win a Big Ten Championship in 1985.  Ty has developed pitching programs that have been used by colleges and high schools, and continues to be consulted by prominent coaches throughout the Midwest.  His focus is “The Complete Pitcher,” and you will receive instruction in all facets of the pitching position.

 

*** To maximize one-on-one time with Coach Herman, sessions will be limited to the first 12 players who reserve a spot.
