Buy a Brick in the
"Friends of Mustangs Baseball Patio"
The "Friends of Mustangs Baseball Patio"
The patio will be located between the first base (home) dugout and the bleachers (to be constructed) directly behind home plate. The expandable patio will be constructed of two sizes of bricks inlaid into a sand base. The bricks will surround a limestone slab with "MV" etched into the stone. An American flagpole with a plaque honoring all Mustangs baseball donors as a group will be part of the design. Several picnic tables will be placed around the patio for fans to enjoy on game day, as well as for the traditional team cook-outs held throughout the season.
"Buy a Brick" for the Patio
Your gift will help fund future improvements to the Mounds View High School Mustangs baseball practice and game facilities and enable you to "Buy a Brick" in the new "Friends of Mustangs Baseball Patio." Your brick will be engraved with a message of your choice. What a great way to "take a bow" for your generosity to the Mustangs Baseball program, to honor a current or former player, or to honor a living or deceased friend or family member.

Your Gift is Tax Deductible
The Mounds View Baseball Diamond Club has been designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) (3) organization, which means that your gift may be fully or partially tax deductible. Please check with your tax advisor.
Matching Gifts
Many employers match employee gifts to 501 c (3) organizations. If you work for such an employer, please check to see if your gift is eligible for a match under your company's program.
Your Gift Will Be Matched
An anonymous donor and great friend of Mustangs baseball has pledged to match every dollar we raise toward field improvements up to $50,000! This means that the value of your gift (including any employer match) will be doubled. So, if you buy a 4" x 8" brick and your employer matches your $250 gift dollar for dollar, the baseball program will receive a total of $1,000 after our anonymous donor matches you and your employer's gift.
Fundraising Proceeds
The net income from the sale of bricks for the "Friends of Mustangs Baseball Patio" will be used to make future improvements to the Mounds View High School Mustangs baseball practice and game facilities. These are items that were not included in the
Patio Construction
Current plans are to begin construction of the "Friends of Mustangs Baseball Patio" in June 2009. In order for your brick(s) to be included in the patio, we must receive your donation no later than June 1. Once the patio is built, we can enlarge it annually, if enough additional bricks are purchased throughout the year. But, this is not guaranteed. So, don't miss out - buy your brick today!
