August 22, 2008

The District construction of the field is complete. Additional components such as bleachers, scoreboard, electricity, storage, batting cages, bullpen mounds, etc. will be provided through fundraising efforts. A Fundraising Committee has been formed and is being led by Dave Stacy. More information on this will be forthcoming this fall.

 

 

August 6, 2008

The dugout ceilings and benches are now installed. The permanent fence is installed, and the mound has been built. The initial build project is near completion.

 

 

July 22, 2008

The concrete dugouts are being constructed this week. The aglime has been delivered and will be spread shortly.

 

 

July 16, 2008

The infield cutout has been created. The next step will be to lay down the aglime infield surface.

 

 

July 11, 2008

This past week, the portable outfield fence was installed.  It is 8' tall.  This fence will be installed and removed annually.  The fence will be removed this coming week for the annual Mustangs youth football camp the week of July 21st. The infield has been marked for creation of the infield next week.

The dugout footings are installed.  Permanent fencing poles are also now installed.  They extend from behind home plate and around each dugout.  The first base side fencing will be higher than the third base side to protect the houses on the first base side.

Ground has been broken...
